These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website kardotuned.com (the "Site") and the diagnostic, performance tuning, module programming, and related automotive services ("Services") provided by KardoTuned LLC ("KardoTuned," "we," "us," or "our"). By using our Site, booking an appointment, or authorizing work on your vehicle, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services

KardoTuned LLC is an owner-operated shop based in Metro Atlanta (Cobb County), Georgia, providing automotive diagnostics, ECU and transmission tuning, module programming and coding, electrical repair, pre-purchase inspections, and related services. Work performed is limited to what is described in your authorized estimate or work order.

2. Appointments and Deposits

• A $75 deposit is required to secure and confirm your appointment. The deposit is applied toward your final service total.
• Appointment times are not confirmed until the deposit has been received.
• Cancellations and rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. Deposits for appointments cancelled with adequate notice may be refunded or applied to a rescheduled appointment at our discretion.
• No-shows and late cancellations: Deposits may be retained for missed appointments or cancellations made without adequate notice, to compensate for reserved time.
• Deposits applied to diagnostic work cover the time and expertise required to evaluate your vehicle and are earned once that work begins, whether or not a repair is ultimately authorized.

3. Diagnostics

Our diagnostic service identifies the most probable cause of a fault based on testing, data analysis, and professional judgment. A diagnostic fee covers this evaluation and is separate from any repair. Because vehicle faults can be intermittent or have multiple contributing causes, diagnosis is not a guarantee that a single repair will fully resolve every symptom. Any additional diagnosis or repair will be discussed with you before proceeding.

4. Performance Tuning, Programming, and Modifications — Important Disclaimers

Performance tuning, ECU/TCM calibration, and module programming involve modifying your vehicle's factory software and behavior. By authorizing this work, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Risk. Modifying engine, transmission, or vehicle control software carries inherent risk. While we use data-verified methods and professional tools, we cannot guarantee against all possible outcomes, including the discovery of pre-existing mechanical or electrical conditions.
• Vehicle condition. Tuning assumes your vehicle is mechanically sound. Pre-existing wear, damage, deferred maintenance, prior modifications, or hidden faults may affect results, and we are not responsible for failures arising from such conditions.
• Warranty. Modifying factory software may void all or part of your vehicle manufacturer's warranty. You are solely responsible for understanding the effect of modifications on any applicable warranty.
• Emissions and legal use. Certain modifications, including the disabling of factory emissions or fuel-management features, may not be legal for use on public roads and may be restricted to off-road, competition, or closed-course use under federal, state, and local law. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any modifications to your vehicle comply with all laws applicable to where and how the vehicle is operated. You represent that you are requesting such work for lawful purposes.
• Calibrations. Custom calibrations, tunes, and files developed by KardoTuned remain our intellectual property and are licensed to you for use on the specific vehicle for which they were created. They may not be copied, redistributed, resold, or transferred without our written permission.

5. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate and complete information about yourself and your vehicle (including prior modifications, repairs, or known issues), confirm that you own the vehicle or are authorized to request work on it, and disclose any aftermarket parts or prior tuning that may affect the work requested. Inaccurate or incomplete information may affect our ability to diagnose or service your vehicle.

6. Payment

Payment for Services is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing. Deposits are applied to the final total. We accept payment through Square and other methods we may designate. Vehicles may not be released until payment is made in full.

7. Vehicle Drop-Off and Storage

You are responsible for removing valuables from your vehicle before drop-off. While we take reasonable care, KardoTuned is not responsible for personal items left in the vehicle. Vehicles left after completion and notification may be subject to storage terms as permitted by Georgia law.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except as expressly stated in a written work order, Services are provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Any warranty on parts is limited to the warranty provided by the part's manufacturer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Georgia law, KardoTuned LLC's total liability arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of use, lost profits, or damages arising from pre-existing vehicle conditions or from the operation of a modified vehicle.

10. Site Use

The content on our Site is provided for general information only and may change without notice. You may not misuse the Site or attempt to interfere with its operation. All logos, text, images, and content are the property of KardoTuned LLC.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute shall be brought in the state or federal courts located in Georgia.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Effective Date" reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
